中国皇帝知几何?

中国历代皇帝到底有几位？各说不一，如果只从秦始皇开始算起，秦朝2位，汉朝31位，三国11位，晋朝16位，五胡十六国78位，南北朝59位，隋朝3位，唐朝22位，五代十国55位，宋朝18位，金辽西夏35位，元朝18位，明朝16位，清朝12位，还有南明、北元，其它诸如李自成、张献忠，以及太平天国洪秀全父子,甚至称洪宪帝仅两个月的袁世凯，加起来一共408位。
但如果把秦始皇以前历时840年的东、西周朝和春秋、战国时代之王、公、侯加进去，就更多了，这些君王总共121位，公217位，侯23位。若再把周朝以前的商朝、夏朝60帝也算进去，中国帝王应该有829位。
